Cultivating Safety and Empowering Your Healing
Hi, there. My name is Lizz, and I’m glad you’re here.
I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. My approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), self-compassion practices, mindfulness, and person-centered principles. I see therapy as a collaborative process, one where I come alongside clients, honor their lived experience, and help them create a space where their voice matters.
I’m especially drawn to the ways emotions, relationships, and patterns shape our lives, and I love to integrate insights from neuroscience to help clients make sense of what they’re feeling and why. Whether someone is navigating painful experiences, feeling stuck, or seeking deeper self-understanding, my goal is to offer a compassionate presence and a safe environment for healing.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and I tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs. I offer flexible in-person and telehealth appointments, including evening availability. Above all, I strive to help clients reconnect with their strengths, cultivate resilience, and move toward a more meaningful life.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, I encourage you to reach out using the contact page below. I would love to hear more about you!

Sometimes, the process of finding a new therapist can feel overwhelming. I hope to demystify the process by telling you a little more about me.
When I’m not holding space for client’s emotions and trauma, I can be found reading, writing, watching Marvel movies and shows, or hanging out with my friends and family. I have two silly cats named Zook and Paco. Zook is a grumpy ragdoll cat and is known to bite my ankles when he wants some attention, and Paco is sweetheart who loves to cuddle. When I have the chance, I also love to travel. The picture on the porch above was captured while on a trip to Nashville earlier this year. I would love to hear about your favorite vacation experiences!
I studied neuroscience and psychology at Central Michigan University, and clinical mental health counseling at Grace College. I love to learn and am always looking for ways to grow my knowledge and technique repertoire to better support you on your healing journey.
